A single step can seem like a small detail, just a slightly bigger move to overcome a change in level. But for some, it represents a real barrier\u2014one that takes away all those simple gestures that shape everyday life. <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>\n

In fact, a step is not so much a barrier for what it represents, but for what it prevents: connection.<\/span><\/p>\n

A portable wheelchair ramp is more than a physical bridge: it is connection.<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Connection isn\u2019t just physical\u2014it\u2019s human. It\u2019s about relationships. And accessibility is relationship, not exception. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>A relationship is never impassable: it is\u2014or rather, it should be\u2014two-way. A bridge that connects two or more places, two or more people, two or more minds, hearts, words, gestures. Never one-way, never difficult.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Talking about accessibility doesn\u2019t mean talking about \u2018help\u2019 or exceptions. It means talking about civic responsibility. Because disability is not in the body of the person who cannot enter, but in the environment that was never designed to welcome them. <\/span><\/p>\n

An inaccessible entrance doesn\u2019t just block a passage\u2014it interrupts the possibility of relationship. Of choice. Of presence. <\/span><\/p>\n

IoRampo: urban bridges for social connection<\/h2>\n

It is from this awareness that IoRampo was born\u2014a project committed to making shop entrances accessible through the use of portable wheelchair ramps.<\/p>\n

And not just simple ramps, as you may have guessed, but true bridges for social connection, capable of creating human connections.<\/span><\/p>\n

Connections, not just links. After all, reducing everything to a technical solution would be limiting. <\/span><\/p>\n

A ramp isn\u2019t just about \u2018overcoming a step.\u2019 It says: you can enter here without asking for permission. It creates a space where everyone can feel at ease, without having to explain, justify, or adapt themselves.<\/p>\n

It makes it possible to stop for a coffee, try on a dress, or meet someone over a glass of wine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Simply being there\u2014like anyone else. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
